Merlot

Friesian horse portrait “Merlot,” made with bordeaux and black pencils.
Deep, warm tones with strong contrast, but still soft in the details. The bordeaux double mount adds that extra depth and finishes it nicely.
Small piece, but it stands out!
If you feel something when you look at it, that’s the one.
