My name is Iryna Standhardt, an equine artist based in the Netherlands.

 

I studied at the National Academy of Art in Kiev, where I refined my skills and learned techniques to further develop my drawing.

I have been drawing from a very young age, and over time I have focused on improving precision, control, and consistency.

 

Because of this, I work primarily with dry media, using graphite and coloured pencil, as this allows for the level of precision and control I am looking for.

 

Quality is central to my work. I take the time needed for each piece, focusing on detail, balance, and a natural result.

My aim is to create drawings that feel well-crafted and lasting, with a level of detail that captures each horse in a way that feels true and personal.
