Friesian in motion

Original pastel drawing of a rearing Friesian, created with soft pastels and loose, expressive strokes. I added touches of blue and purple to create a colourful shine in the coat and bring extra energy to the piece.
The artwork is created on grey-blue pastel paper and finished with a clean white mount (passe-partout).
Size: 50 × 60 cm (19.7 × 23.6 in)
